Spreading Christmas Cheer

Spreading Christmas Cheer and Making Memories to Last Throughout the Year!

Holidays are opportunities to create connections and make lasting memories. Pulaski County once again demonstrated the essence of community on Sunday, November 19th, as people gathered to enjoy a heartfelt Hometown Holiday Celebration.

This 3rd annual volunteer-driven initiative organized by the Pulaski County Tribe celebrated holiday spirit for the young and young at heart alike. The day echoed with laughter, sentimental carols, and community camaraderie. The picturesque scene included stately horses pulling a wagon filled with family and friends, a charming barn filled with the sound of carolers, a banquet hall filled with hands-on activities and vendors, and the exchange of stories of years gone by in Santa’s workshop.

Visitors also enjoyed a scenic winter scene to capture photos, a Grinch painting workshop led by artist Linda Lee Ligocki, and a Grinch Brunch hosted by Meadow Springs.

While the magic of the season is real, this heartwarming day didn’t just magically happen; it was made possible by the kindness of PCT members along with a variety of community volunteers and the support of various businesses and organizations. The gift of time, talent, and enthusiasm set the stage for guests to embrace the season's warmth. Those interested in lending a hand with this or other future community events are encouraged to reach out to Pulaski County Tribe.

The day was a simple celebration of the season, where those of all ages found joy in the little things. It is the genuine hope of PCT that this day was filled with memories for our community.
