Memories and Connections Made Celebrating the Holiday

An afternoon filled with community camaraderie and memory-making activities was enjoyed as joyous sounds flowed through the air. On Sunday, November 20, 2022, Pulaski County was again blessed with the collaboration of businesses, organizations, and residents spreading holiday cheer.

During the 2nd annual A Hometown Holiday Celebration giggles and grins were everywhere as visitors enjoyed brunch with the Grinch, visits with Santa, horse and buggy rides, and s’mores. Heartfelt memories were made by participating in hands-on activities, board games, DIY workshops, and group photos.

Activities were offered by Alliance Bank, Anna Miller, Bak's Panacea Farm, Barb Troxel, Bethel Bible Church, Family Career Community Leaders of America (FCCLA), Indiana Farm Bureau Insurance, K-IRPC Head Start, Miss Pulaski County, Meadow Springs, and Pulaski County Tribe. We appreciate their time and talent to offer many fun and mostly free crafts for visitors of all ages.

DIY decor workshops were led by Alex Haschel and Brandi Larkin. Live demonstrations were given by local artists Linda Lee-Ligocki on watercolor, Tom Thomas on wood whittling, and Mike Kasten on metal models.

It is with much gratitude we thank our event partners. Meadow Springs graciously allowed the use of their facility. BraunAbility provided financial support for the horse and buggy rides. DJ Fred provided his talent and equipment for the sounds of the season. We also thank the 2022 PCT Partners whose support helped bring to life a variety of projects to life this year: Alliance Bank, the Breyfogle Family, and Sanders Foods.

The PCT elves have plans to grow this event even further and add new attractions again next year. If you are interested in participating in 2023 as an activity partner or vendor, we encourage you to fill out this form to be contacted when registration opens.
